Cricket news about Pak vs Eng odi series and Wi vs Aus T20 series

 Cricket is a very funny game but at the same time it could be very cruel for the losing side as we seen in last 2 to 3 days. First of we should appreciate the effort of newly English side and i apologise that I have written in my previous blog https://www.cric-talk.com/2021/07/review-of-1st-odi-between-pak-vs-eng.htmlthat was just a good day for home side which gave them a win but now there was every thing pre planned and some great cricket.

I think this is not England's B side they are all good cricketers but they couldn't get the chance due to some high standard of the players and I think it just the matter of your mindset and it has completely changed the English way of playing cricket they all play with same intent with some good skills.
On the other hand if we see Pakistan yes they were playing good cricket but we have to watch for opposite side they have played 5 matches against South Africa without their 5 key players and then they played 3T20s and 2 tests against Zimbabwe and I am afraid how you gonna build your team by playing against these kind of teams.1 or 2 matches you can play but if you're playing complete series that is just awful for your own side and Pakistan has played 6 T20s,3 ODIs and 2 tests in last 1.5 years against Zimbabwe.That's shows you how much you are getting better.
After that if we go 20 days back everybody was in form of his life in PSL like Babar, Rizwan, Fakher, Sohaib and Shaheen but now all the form has gone away.English bowlers point out the weakness of everyone.
Let's talk about the 2nd Odi
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl 1st in overcast conditions which was a good decision and they 2 early wickets but then Vince and Salt showed their skills and talent with breathtaking batting they both scored fifties but after that Hassan Ali came in and rattled English middle order and they were 160/7.

Then Gregory and Carse build another partnership to get the total of 248 which was very competitive.For Pakistan Hassan Ali got fifer.
In the chase once again Pakistan couldn't start well as they lost Imam early after that Saqib joined the party once again and got Babar and Rizwan to dent further.

In last match he got Babar with outswinger and in this match he got him with nip backer.After that chase never took off and Pakistan was losing wickets in regular intervals Saud Shakeel got his 1st fifty but that wasn't enough to get over the line and England won by 56 runs.

 
We always talk about Pakistan's bowling strength but it this match bowling wasn't good than batting after getting 2 quick wickets they bowled very poorly and allow England to get back.They were bowling both sides of the wicket and leaked a lot of runs there was help in the wicket with lights on and overcast conditions but they couldn't get it right.Pakistan clearly conceived 50 extra runs and that cost them a game and series as well.In batting department they need to be mentally strong and feel that you can win the match after losing 3 or 4 wickets also.
We hope that Pakistan can end the series on positive note and can start T20 series with some confidence.
Australia Vs West Indies
Two big giants of T20 cricket has locked their horns in thrilling series and we have seen some madness from Aussie.They are brand of cricket but now they are in a huge trouble first they lost home series against India and now they have T20 series against West Indies and they lost it in awkward way.
I think they are not taking T20 cricket too much serious we saw them they were clean sweeped by Pakistan in UAE they have lost series against New Zealand in recent times. Now they are trying too much things which is not their style of play and that's why they struggling.

In 1st T20 they collapsed really badly with some poor shot selection which cost them a game that they should have easily win.
In 2nd match
West Indies batted first and they got a huge total on the board of 196 with the help of fifty from Hetmayer and finishing touch from Bravo and Russell.
In the chase they never got going Mitchell Marsh was holding one end but nobody could stand tall and they lost it by huge margin of 56 runs.They have to watch out their combination and their approach towards the game because they have for dominated world cricket for long time.
On the other side West Indies will be very happy side they lost last series against South Africa with close margin but now they come back really well.Slowly but surely they are finding their best combination for World Cup.
