After that he was the most consistent batsman for them but from last year his performance dropped down a bit and he wasn't like the old David Warner but he was dropped from the team and that was a big surprise for everyone, after that the behavior of SRH management was not good and that really disappointed David Warner. Now it looks like this is done, a journey of David Warner with SRH is finished now and we won't see him again in orange. Mega auctions are coming for next season and that can bring so many changes.

King without Crown
We have seen some huge heart breakers and we have seen one heart breaker in this season of IPL also. That was the last season of Virat King Kohli as RCB Captain and he finished his campaign in utmost dramatic fashion.ABD and Virat are some of the most loving Duo around the globe and their fans want to win them a title but cricket is a very ruthless and cruel game. There is no value of emotions in this game, Virat gave everything to his side in his captaincy era but couldn't win the title.2016 season was a special one for him where he scored 4 hundred and 973 runs and qualified for the final but their hopes were done and dusted by an Aussie David Warner who also won his 1st title for SRH. In the last 2 seasons, RCB played really well, and in this season addition of Maxwell made them even stronger but their hopes were cut down by Eoin Morgan's KKR.

I think there was a little bit of wrong decision at the toss because if Virat, ABD, and Maxwell are there you should back your batting line up but that wasn't the case and then you know the results a heartbreak.IPL will miss an energetic and aggressive captain in the future and especially RCB. But he answered the big question that he will play for RCB till his last IPL game and he confirmed that ABD will be also there so we will see these two supermen again together.

Battle of Luck
We have seen another heartbreak of Rishabh Pant Delhi Capitals was playing some serious cricket past 2 years last year they lost in the final and now in 2nd qualifier. They played brilliant cricket in the whole season but at crucial moments they failed badly.DC lost their last 3 matches in the final over 1st against RCB 2nd against CSK where Pant made a big fault by not bowling final over by Rabada. And then in a big match, they lost their intensity and energy towards the game they scored just 135 and couldn't get the wicket in power play. But in the last 4 overs KKR required just 13 runs and then magic happened for DC, KKR played so badly and they were required 6 off the last 2 balls then Rahul Tripathi smoked the ball out of the park to book their seat in the final. Rishabh Pant is in the early days of his captaincy career and there is a long journey ahead. But he was really disappointed as you can see in this picture.

MS Dhoni struggled in the whole season with the bat but he came to the party when it matters the most. He came to the crease when they required 18 off the last 9 balls in 1st qualifier and took the onus ahead of Ravindra Jadeja and finished the game with 18 off just 6 balls. There was Rabada available for the final over but Pant went to Curran who was the bowler of the day but bowling against MSD is not a joke at all and he finished the game with 2 balls to spare. That was the finish we have seen over the years from him and he said that it's not done yet.

It has been a fairy tale for CSK this season I still remember the last interview of MS Dhoni in 2020 when they couldn't qualify for playoffs for 1st time ever, he said that we will come back stronger and that wasn't just the statement that was the stamp of authority from a captain.

We will talk about the final now
KKR won the toss and elected to bowl 1st which was a pretty good decision but that was the final and runs on the board always matter. It was the battle between KKR's spinners Vs CSK middle order and CSK won that battle comprehensively by giving away just 2 wickets to their spinners.
1st half of both teams was the same they both didn't lose the wicket early and then the platform was set for others to come in and explore themselves. At that moment I think Uthappa and Moeen Ali made a big difference by not allowing the KKR attack to settle. Faf was holding the one end and runs were coming thick and fast from the other end and they finished at 192/3.
Gill played brilliantly for his personal milestone but they couldn't get the game away even after 10 overs. They were going around 8.5 per over without a wicket and you know one wicket was enough to break the shackles.
Their middle-order once flopped the final time in this year and cost them a title.CSK was having experienced players but they weren't the anchors or moderators and they played some good cameos when required.

This is the biggest question of every CSK fan and I think things are done from him and it will be really sad for every cricket fan because we have seen him on the field since our childhood. But everyone has to left it one day. He mentioned in the presentation they will select a team for the next 10 years or so in mega auctions and with that we can't see Dhoni on the field in yellow because he is pretty old now and with that, we may not see him and Raina also. So the story of the 2 great players of CSK will be finished. But the legacy that Dhoni left behind is irreplaceable.
He was a captain he was a leader and he was a finisher he was always one step ahead in calculations, analyzing, and reading the game.
So every story has to be finish and Dhoni also has to be. He was a great ambassador of cricket and made cricket proud around the globe the whole cricket world will miss him on the field but the legacy will be remembered for a long time.
