Cricket Journey and Bioghraphy of Babar Azam

 So we are back again with you cricket is going on but International cricket has just paused so far because of IPL and we have not many things to talk about but we will do a weekly review of IPL.

Now we are going to write 1st ever biography and it will be a biography of one of the rising stars in international cricket and the captain of the  Pakistan Cricket Team none other than Babar Azam. The batsman is just behind Fab 4 and runs a machine for Pakistan in all forms of cricket. Let's start

Early life
Muhammad Babar Azam was born in the heart of Pakistan Lahore on 15th October 1994. Pakistan cricket was at its peak after that win of the World Cup in 1992 and everybody wanted to be a cricketer because they have watched the welcome of Pakistani heroes like Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Inzamam ul Haq and Babar Azam wanting to be one of them. He started to play cricket as time passed in the streets and then he saw his cousins Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal who were playing at a higher level, therefore, he decided to take cricket as his profession. He was a ball boy at Gaddafi Stadium later on he was selected in the u19 team of Pakistan and played 2 U19 World Cups in 2009 and 2012.
He was the captain of the side in the 2012 World Cup

and after that he didn't look back he got an opportunity in domestic cricket. He played for Zarai Tarqiati Bank Ltd. in 2010/11 later he played for Sui Southern Gas Corporation.
International Career
In May 2015 1st time Babar Azam was included in Pakistan ODI Squad for the home series against Zimbabwe. He got the chance in the 3rd ODI on 31st May and scored a fluent fifty to introduce himself to the world, he got 54 on just 60 balls.
His impressive debut earns him a call in both tests and ODI squads for the away series in Sri Lanka. He couldn't get the chance in the Test series and in the ODI series he scored just 37 runs in 2 innings. He was retained in the squad for the home series against England which was played in UAE. In the 1st ODI he scored 62 not out to win the match for his side and put a great partnership with Mohammad Hafeez.
T20 Debut
He made his T20 debut for Pakistan against England on 7th September 2016 the rest is history.
Babar Azam scored his maiden ODI hundred against West Indies in 2016, in 1st match of the series he scored 120 on 131 balls and scored consecutive hundreds in the next 2 matches also. He broke the record for most runs in 3 match series by scoring 360 runs in the series.
Test Debut
He also made his test debut in that series against West Indies in Dubai on 13th October 2016 and scored 69 runs in his 1st innings in a day/night test match. In January 19,2017 in the 3rd ODI against Australia in Australia, he became the joint-fastest player to complete 1000 runs in ODI's. He scored a hundred in the 5th ODI against Australia which was the only 2nd hundred ever scored by a Pakistani batsman in Australia after Zaheer Abbass in 1981. He also entered the top 10 batsmen rankings for the 1st time ever.
In the famous Champions Trophy final, he scored 46 off 52 balls against India.
Pakistan's tour of New Zealand in 2018 was the worst ODI series for Babar, he scored just 31 runs in 5 innings but played well in T20s.
1st hundred in tests
In-home series against New Zealand in November 2018 in the 2nd test he scored his maiden test 100.
In September 2019 before the home series against Sri Lanka, he was named vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team in both ODIs and T20s. In October 2019, he became the captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team in the T20s against Australia.
On 10th November 2020, Babar was appointed test captain of the Pakistan test series side ahead of the tour of New Zealand.
On April 14th, 2021 he scored his maiden T20 hundred 122 against South Africa in Centurion. In the same tour, he became the no. 1 ODI batsman by surpassing Virat Kohli who ruled for 1258 days. After that he didn't look back he get his career-best runs against England by scoring 158 runs which were his 1st 150 plus score. On his Australia tour of Pakistan, he was just unstoppable he scored 2 match-winning hundreds in Lahore. Meanwhile, he completed the 2nd fastest 4000 runs. He scored 114 in the 2nd ODI and scored another 100 in the next match and became a man of the series. Now he is the fastest player to get 15 hundred in terms of innings.

In September 2021 he was named captain of Pakistan for the T20 World Cup 2021.
PSL journey
He was selected in Islamabad United in the 1st Edition of PSL 2016 but he got injured and could play just a couple of matches after that in 2017 he moved to Karachi Kings and still playing.
