2nd ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh has finished and that won by Bangladesh comprehensively.There was a good start by Sri Lanka as they got 2 wickets of Tamim and Shakib in the just 2nd over from Chameera.But after that the hero of the last match Mushfiqur Rahim came to the crease and he controlled things in his way.Wickets were falling around him but that couldn't dent his focus.That's why he is Mr dependable for Bangladesh whenever they get themselves into a trouble they look at him and most of the time he responds positively.And one more time he came to rescue for his side and build a nice partnership with Mahmudullah but after scoring 42 he also got himself out but Mushfiqur was there till the end.

In the mean time he brought his 8th hundred in this game and put a good total on the board for his side he was last man to dismissed and Bangladesh couldn't play their quota of overs. Mushfiqur finished on 125 and Bangladesh finished on 246.Chameera was the star with the ball as he picked 3 wickets.
In the chase Sri Lanka couldn't start well as they lost their captain really early.There was the first concussion for Bangladesh as well Saifuddin got hit on the helmet while batting and he was replaced by Taskin Ahmad.Sri Lanka could not give themselves a chance in a whole chase and nobody could stand up there for his side.

Mahedi Hassan was the star again with the ball as picked up 3 wickets and Mustafiz also bowled well. Mahedi Hassan has been one of the few spinners who are playing White ball cricket and he has been splendid with his performance with the ball and bat as well especially he is performance has been superb in home conditions.At the end it was DLS method and Sri Lanka lost the match by 104 runs.
That was another shameful display of batting from Sri Lankan batters because 247 is not a huge target in modern day cricket but they failed to chase that down and we're falling apart.Once upon a time Sri Lanka was one of the top side of the game they played the final of World Cup 2007,11.But now they are struggling really badly I think there is problem in their system as well there is politics in their selection and personal liking and disliking as well.We have seen some talented cricketers in now a days like Angelo Perera, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and many others but the problem is they are not grooming and improving that cricketers.They should watch their syestem to regain themselves otherwise it will be hard for them to compete against lower ranked sides.
