Another big series has finished in these crisis successfully let's take a moment and appreciate the people who made things possible and worked hard for this to happen.Because it wasn't easy to start the series when two Sri Lankan players tested positive before the 1st game but they decided to go ahead and finally complete the series successfully.
Now talk about the last match and the series as well.
In 3rd ODI Sri Lanka won the toss and batted first which proved a really good decision because their openers started really well as they put 82 runs partnership after that Taskin Ahmad got 2 wickets in an over to get Bangladesh back but Lankan captain was superb with the bat as he got his hundred and helped his side to put a good total on the board he scored 120 and Dhananjaya de Silva also played well for his fifty. As Sri Lanka finished on 286 on the board which was a fighting total.
In the chase this was the time for Bangladesh to crumble the reason was Chameera was on some serious fire he bowled magnificent and won the match for his side single handedly his bowling figure was great and he got the fifer as well 5/16 in 9 overs
that could have been humiliation defeat for Bangladesh but at the end Mahmudullah and Mosadik Hussein got their fifties and saved the reputation of his team.
That was a convincing victory for Sri Lanka but all over that was not a good series for them because they their first series against Bangladesh that's should sum up their performance.They have good players who can serve their country but it is all about the mental strength and some skill level as well as we all know Mickey Arthor with them and he should find the way to get it right for Sri Lanka.
On the other hand that was another convincing series victory for Bangladesh as they won their maiden series against Sri Lanka their batsmen always played well and now they have some serious fast bowlers which were missing in their side and most importantly they are getting better and better with every match and they have got good backup players as well.They have been really good side in last 5 years or so because they have Pakistan,India,South Africa and now Sri Lanka it means they are playing very good cricket in their home ground and it isn't easy to beat them at home ground but this is very big improvement for them.
