Test cricket is very fascinating if 2 mentally prepared sides up against each other and we are watching this in this series India Vs England.
After getting India all out on 78 England batted superbly they lost their 1st wicket on 135 when the lead was over 50 at that time after that they lost Haseeb early but then man in form of his life came to the crease and got 100 at bresk rate.That was his 3rd 100 of the series and he is the highest scorer of the series by a huge margin.There were some questions over his conversion rate but in this he has been impeccable he has got 3 hundreds and a fifty in just 5 innings.On the hand David Malan made a great come back by scoring a fifty he was also very positive in his approach but he got out just on the last ball before Tea.There was nobody convinced but Siraj requested his captain to review and he was spot on.
In the last session India made a good come back by getting 5 wickets including a huge wicket of Joe Root he scored 124 and bowled by the ripping delivery by Bumrah.
Lead was already over 330 and the end of Day 2 with 2 wickets to spare.
Day 3
India got 2 wickets early in the morning and England finished on 432 with lead of 354.
India was completely under pressure but their openers played the new ball really nicely and played 18 overs but just before the lunch Rahul nicked one of to Bairstow and that was a cracker of delivery from Craig Overton and splendid take by Bairstow.
There were very good conditions for bowling was a complete overcast no sunshine all day and the ball was moving around.Then Pujara came in who hasn't gotten runs in this series but he started nicely and they saw through the 2nd session meanwhile Rohit completed his high fifty.
The last session of the day,India lost Rohit in the 2nd over by bearest of the margins because it was just a little tickle of the Umpire's call and he has to go on 59.
Then Virat Kohli came to the crease and he was highly under pressure because he couldn't get going so far and Joe Root brought Anderson back just for him but Anderson was just off colour and he conceived 20 runs in 2 overs.After that Kohli and Pujara looked good and Virat was leaving the ball really well.
At the end of the day India was 215/2 Virat on 45 and Pujara into 90s but they were still trailing by 139 which means they still has to go for a long way.
Day 4
Who would have thought that India will finish in this way again a huge collapse and there was a no way to come back after that.
New ball did the damage and they lost their 8 wickets in just 65 runs with 2nd new ball and that's tells you how well Rohit Sharma has played in this series so far should be a great applause for him.
India lost set Pujara without adding a run in their overnight total and after that nobody could stand there.Virat once again got out in the same old fashion nicked one to the slip fielder Joe Root of Ollie Robinson.
He got 5 wickets in the 2nd innings and India was all out on just 278 runs and lost the match by an innings and 76 runs.India has to look out these problems really seriously because it has been the story for them from some time,inWTC final they faced similar situation and now in this series also but they didn't feel it because their bowlers have been so good in their job.But now this looks a serious problem and they can try out some players like Thakur,Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari as well and Ajinkiya Rahane has some problems and it will be difficult for him to save his place in the side and Hanuma Vihari can be ideal person because of his match saving performance against Australia.
On the side England has sort out all problems and this combination looks more promising and their bowlers have been in great nick.Top order was a problem for them and now they solved it nicely.
