Cricket is back in England and it has back with full flow it is always great to watch cricket in England if rain doesn't come.English summer is truly a treat to watch for cricket fans and it started with New Zealand vs England test series after that WTC final then Sri Lanka Vs England series and now another exciting series is coming in our way.
Pakistan has touched down England to play 3 match odi series and 3 match T20 series and ODI series will be starting from 8th July after that ODI series there will be T20 series between these 2 sides.
Let's talk about this series.
England couldn't start their summer in great fashion and they lost test series against New Zealand with 1-0 but after that they came to their favourite white ball cricket at against little bit unsettled side Sri Lanka and they thrash them completely.It was never a competition between 2 sides England completely dominated against them but now they are having a different challenge against another Asian side.
England's middle order
England has been superb under the captaincy of Eoin Morgan and they have changed their game and take it to next level because of their ruthless approach towards the game.But now they are having very good top order and everyone plays attacking cricket and they have only one anchor in shape of Joe Root who hold the innings together except him every body likes to play aggressive.Now they will miss the services of Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler and they had been backbone of English middle order because they can build the innings and then can accelerate in their own fashion.Other players having a good chance to make their name but these two are irreplaceable and England will miss them.
Pakistan's problems
On the other side Pakistani players just finished the PSL and they came here in last ODI series Pakistan beat South Africa in their home ground that's shows how well they have played.But story was the different because Pakistan's top order was on fire as Fakher,Imam and Babar Azam played a huge role out there.
But middle order of Pakistan was just awful they tried different players but no one could upto the mark.Now they will try new combination in middle order and it will not be easy for someone to come in and start to perform but if Pakistan's middle order can find their groove then it will be really tough for England and they have inform Sohaib Maqsood and experienced Haris Sohail is making his comeback and they will be eager to perform.
Bowling department of both sides looks good England will miss Archer but their other bowlers are in sublime form especially Chris Woakes has been superb against Sri Lanka and i think he will be a big problem for Pakistan with the new ball.
Pakistan also having good fast bowling attack but Shadab Khan's performance hasn't been upto the mark and his form will be crucial for Pakistan in middle overs.
At the end both sides are looking good in their combination and England will be favourite but Pakistan can surprise them.
Let's see how things goes in front of full crowd 1st time after Covid crisis in England so it will be so much fun.
