Australia Vs West Indies ODI series
After huge defeat in T20s Australia came back really well in ODI series and won the 1st ODI comprehensively and then 2nd ODI was rescheduled because of Covid cases in West Indies camp but thank God series restarted and home side came back really well in 2nd ODI by winning it 4 wickets.
In decider that was the battle of 2 uncertain batting line ups with good bowling attacks and West Indies batting collapsed again for the final time in the series.
Evin Lewis was the only batsman who scored fifty but other batsmen couldn't stand up and West Indies was all out on just 152 on the board.Starc and Zampa were the stars of the show as they got 3 and 2 wickets each.
In the chase Australia was not off to a promising start but we all know that was the matter of just one good partnership to get over the line and Aussies batsmen did it exactly to seal the series.They have chased down target in 30.3 overs with 6 wickets to spare.Mitchell Marsh played a good cameo and Mathew Wade scored brilliant 51 runs to seal the deal. Their batting was awful in the whole tour but the positive things for them that Starc and Zampa came back really well in ODI series and found their form and rhythm.
India Vs Sri Lanka
Home side will be looking to solve their middle order woes and India will be eyeing on series win here in 2nd T20 game.Sri Lanka played well in ODI series but they couldn't get the results in their way and won the last match to avoid clean sweep.
In 1st T20 their bowlers did well to stop India on 165 and their batsmen started nicely in chase but their middle order collapsed really badly to get all out on just 126.So they have to find the balance between attack and defence and they can give tough time to India.
Let's see how they go in the series further.
Pakistan has touched down West Indies for 4 T20s and 2 test match series.T20 series will start from tomorrow and it's going to be an exciting series Pakistan has lost his last series and West Indies won their last series but Pakistan is having a good bowling attack with some good spinners and we know West Indies struggles against spinners so it will be a good battle.
Conditions also suit Pakistan with sluggish pitches and decent boundries spinners will be always in the game.Pakistan has to find the right combination in middle order because it has been a problem for them in last one year or so and this is good time to watch out and solve out this problem.Mohammad Hafeez also needs runs and form because he is struggling from last 3 series and not getting runs.If he gets back in form that will be a huge boost for Pakistan and things will be eased a little bit but if flops then he can be drop from World Cup squad so this is a huge change for him also.
