Let's talk about the 1st test
Things were looking great till that point but the pitch for the 1st test match left a lot of questions. That was truly a shameful wicket in this modern era and was like a road where bowlers struggled too much especially fast bowlers.2 great teams played cricket on the relatively dead wicket and that wasted the time of cricket fans and players also there was no movement and bounce at all neither for seamers nor for spinners. Quality should have been much better for the competitive battle between bat and ball but that was not the case on this pitch. Rawalpindi wicket is always famous for the help of fast bowlers because there is always some bounce and swing there but this time things were completely different.

Pakistan started well
Babar Azam won the toss and it was the easiest decision to bat 1st and Pakistan's openers took full advantage. There was just a little bit of swing with the new ball but it disappeared soon. After that, it was all about batsmen and they cash out really well Imam ul Haq made a come back into the side after 2 years and made it memorable by scoring a big hundred against an Australian bowling attack. He scored 157 and Azhar Ali scored 185 and got Pakistan to a mammoth total of 474/4. Azhar Ali missed a well-deserved 200 by just 15 runs but he needed this type of innings for himself also. Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, and Marnus Labuschagne got wickets each.

Comeback by Aussies
That was a huge task for Australian batters, especially after 2 long days in the field but they were lucky because the play was stopped early on Day2 due to bad light. The next day they were fresher and more focused and most importantly started well. Their top 4 scored fifties but nobody could convert into 3 figures Usman Khwaja missed a well-deserved hundred by just 3 runs and Test no.1 batter Marnus missed his hundred by 10 runs.

That laid the platform for the late order but they couldn't fire and couldn't significantly lead. Australia finished with the trail of 17 runs Nauman Ali registered his career-best figures 6/107.
Imam's twin hundreds
There was never looking that either side wants to get a result so that was all about practice and Pakistan's openers once again were on a roll Imam ul Haq got consecutive hundreds in both innings and was awarded man of the match. Abdullah Shafique missed out on 1st innings but didn't in 2nd. He also got a much deserved hundred and Pakistan didn't lose a wicket in 2nd innings and a test match was drawn. Australian bowlers were not trying too hard and they bowled with part-timers and saved the energy of their main bowlers. So still 2 test matches remain we can hope that the pitches will be much better and we will get results out of that.

India is not the easiest place for visiting teams because of their quality of cricket and their depth in every department of the game. He scored a big hundred and smashed the ball all around the park he scored 175 not out and Ashwin also scored a fifty. India got a huge total on the board of 574/8.

The story didn't stop there as Jadeja was the chief destroyer with the ball in hand also. He got 5fer in 1st inning and then 4 wickets in 2nd innings also. He got 9 wickets in the match and scored a 100 also. India won the 1st test by an innings and 222 runs. Team India ticked all the boxes in that match but on the other side Sri Lanka has to find a way to stop them but it will be a really tough task for them.
