The auction of the most expensive league in the world of cricket has done and dusted we have seen a lot of great players get the buyers and some legends of the game couldn't get into any side. But that's how life goes time you are a superstar but after some time your value gets down.

1. Chennai Super Kings
One of the most successful franchises of IPL is CSK and we all know their method of playing the game. This method has proven well and good for them again and again because of their captain's cool, calm, and composed MS Dhoni. In these mega auctions, they still remained the same their basic core of the team is the same but they have gone to a little more extra pace this time also. They don't take too many youngsters and they believe in experience so their theme is pretty old and successful also. But they will miss China Thala means Suresh Raina who has been wonderful for them throughout the years but this time they didn't pick him and he went unsold. So not a great ending of the career for Mr.IPL.

2. Kolkata Knight Riders
2 times champion and the finalist of the last year have changed a lot of things in their squad. Ist thing they need a new captain so they retained Australian Test Captain Pat Cummins in the auction and they have gotten Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer in the team so captain should be one of them. Sunil Narine and Andre Russell were there also and they added Ajinkiya Rahane and Alex Hales into the squad. After that in the spin department, Muhammad Nabi is also there alongside Varun Chakravarty.They left out their former captains Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik.

3. Mumbai Indians
The most successful franchise of the IPL and we can say a trendsetter side of the T20 around the globe. They always think differently and do different things. They always believe in stats and in the bowling department, they like the pace. So they have retained Ishan Kishan in the auction as the most expensive player in the history of Mumbai Indians. They picked baby ABD Dewald Brevis and some pinch hitters like Tim David and Daniel Sams. They picked pace bowlers like Jofra Archer, Rilee Meredith, and Tymal Mills. So they have changed their bowling attack let's see what happens.

4. Sunrises Hyderabad
SRH won the IPL in 2016 but their last season was really awful and many things were going on in their dressing room when they gave the captaincy to Kane Williamson. Then they dropped David Warner from the side and that hurt him in a big time. David Warner was the key component in 2016 and he was really good onwards but last season he didn't fire and things were changed. Rashid Khan was also the pillar of SRH but every good thing has come to an end one day. Now they have Kane Williamson as captain and they choose a new side for 2022.

5. Rajasthan Royals
RR won the inaugural IPL in 2008 under Shane Warne. Their last season was also not good as they were eliminated in 1st round. They relied heavily on English Players last season but unfortunately, their key players Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer were unfit and that hurt them badly. Now they have selected a relatively new team as they picked Ravi Ashwin and Yuzwendra Chahal. So Ashwin and Buttler in the same team should be fun.

6. Royal Challengers Bangalore
The most exciting franchise of IPL is RCB. The most famous Duo ABD and Virat won't play together now because ABD has resigned from every type of cricket so this is a huge shock not only for RCB but the whole IPL and the cricket world. He was a genius of the game and was a superman in the field. Virat Kohli left the captaincy after last season and RCB picked another South African superstar Faf Du Plessis. He could be the captain of the team also and another big pick was Dinesh Karthik he played earlier for RCB also and he has made a comeback. Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood will be there so still a lot of quality players in RCB to watch out for.

7. Delhi Capitals
DC has played some exceptional cricket in the last 2 seasons under the coaching of great Ricky Ponting but they can't sneak a title. So they have to rebuild again and they picked Warner back in the team and they left out the spearhead of their bowling attack Kagiso Rabada. So Prithwi Shaw will be having a new partner and Anrich Nortje will also find a new one. DC backs youngsters and they don't believe in big names so the story continues let's see what happens.

8. Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings is also one of those sides that are still searching for their 1st title. They have changed many things many times but they couldn't succeed.KL Rahul was their captain last season and he was the highest runs getter but he has gone away. Now they have a really new set up and they got Liam Livingstone in a whopping amount. Their bowling attack will be led by Trent Bout because they don't have Shami now. So only time will tell us how they go.

9. Lucknow Super Giants
A brand new franchise in IPL 2022 and it will lead by one of the best T20 batsmen KL Rahul. He is the most consistent T20 batter in the tournament for Punjab but now he will be facing a new challenge. They have Quinton De Kock, Mark Wood, and Jason Holder also.

10. Gujrat Titans
Another new franchise is Gujrat Titans which will be led by Hardik Pandya. He will be leading 1st time in IPL some other big names are Rashid Khan, Shami, and Lockie Ferguson. So it will be fun to watch out Hardik, Miller, and Roy batting together.
