Hello and a warm welcome to all our readers, we are officially back to test cricket and it has been a traditional test cricket this week we have seen almost everything the solid defense, utmost consistency, and untired bowling spells and we have seen all this action in Asian Conditions. We will talk about the top cricket news of the 1st week of December.

Ijaz Patel's Glory
New Zealand saved 1st test in the most dramatic fashion and then in 2nd test Virat Kohli made a comeback as Captain and Ajinkiya Rahane has to sit out on the other side Kane Williamson was also injured for the 2nd test and Tom Latham became the captain. India started the innings really well but there was a complete one-man show in Wankhede Stadium Mumbai. A local boy who came back to his home after so many years destroyed the Indian batting line up single-handedly the name is Ijaz Patel he got all the 10 wickets himself and became just only the 3rd bowler in the history of cricket of 144 years to do so after Jim Laker 1956 and Anil Kumble 1999.

So a day to remember for him because this is some record and some achievement at his birthplace.
Magnificent Mayank
India tumbled a bit at one moment when Ijaz got Pujara and Kohli in a single over on duck but Mayank Agarwal was really set and played with responsibility to carry his side. He started his career really well but in the last tour of Australia he was exposed badly against inswing deliveries but now he has gotten the chance and making the most out of it. He scored a magnificent 150 to get his side in a commanding position.

He was also the lone warrior for his side after him Axar Patel also got fifty and India put 330 on the board which was more than enough.
New Zealand's Humiliation
Every New Zealand fan was celebrating the success of Ijaz Patel but the whole story was changed in just 2 to 3 hours. New Zealand collapsed really badly and missed their captain big time. Things started from Muhammad Siraj's spell I think he is the carbon copy of Virat Kohli in aggression and energy and he was ruthless with the new ball he reduced Visitors on 17/3 and things were, even more, worse with Ashwin and Axar yet to bowl. But after that Ashwin took the responsibility and finished things rather too early he got 4 wickets and New Zealand was bundled out on just 62 their lowest total in India. Tom Latham and Kyle Jamieson were the only batters who got into double figures. New Zealand had no clue in the whole innings and couldn't go anywhere.
India could have enforced follow on but Virat didn't do that and India decided to bat again and once again Mayank Agarwal was the hero and he got 62 in the 2nd innings also. Virat Kohli was bowled on just 36 and his wait continues and India declared on 276/7. Ajaz Patel again picked 4 wickets and got 14 wickets in the match which was the only positive thing for New Zealand.
Target was 540 for New Zealand which was looking impossible in these conditions and once again Ashwin was making things tough for Visitors. Now at the end of Day 3 New Zealand 140/5 with 2 days spare it will be just a matter of the time how India close it out?
Day 4
There was only one question how much time India will take to wrap things up and here is the answer in just half a session they got the remaining 5 wickets and New Zealand just added 27 runs in the total and India won the match by 372 runs and started the WTC campaign officially. Mayank Agarwal was the Man of the Match Ravi Ashwin was the man of the series. So things have been wrapped up and will go to South Africa and the series will start from the Boxing Day Test.
Pakistan Vs Bangladesh
2nd test between Pakistan and Bangladesh has started but going nowhere because of persisting rain on Day 2.
Pakistan is playing his 1st innings and the score is 188/2 so it will little difficult to get the results out. Babar Azam is back in his groove and looking good at the crease while Azhar is also looking confident and they both need big innings and this is a great chance for them to convert this into a big one.

Oh, the platinum standard test series is back with a bang after 2 years and it will start from 8th December at Gabba. England will miss the hero of the last Ashes Jofra Archer but they will be looking at Ben Stokes because he is ready to go there and who can forget his inning at Manchester where he won single-handedly on the last wicket with the help of iconic single of Jake Leach. So it will be a battle to watch out. There was another battle between David Warner and Stuart Broad where Broad got Warner 8 times in the last Ashes so we are back for another interesting story between them.
For Australia Pat Cummins become the 1st ever fast bowler to lead Australia in the test and this is some achievement for him and remember that he is the no. 1 test bowler in the rankings. After that Australia will be looking to settle their shaky middle-order because after Marnus and Smith they don't have really good batsmen and the wicket-keeper Alex Carry will be on debut so things will be interesting to watch. And it will be a huge test for Joe Root also who has been in splendid nick against India but it will be a different story and let's see how they manage?
