Virat Kohli was rested for this series and will be on the rest for 1st test also. But India started well under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and they won the 1st series by 3-0 against Kiwis and remember that New Zealand beat India in the recent T20 World Cup match comprehensively. Rohit and Rahul were ruthless at top of the order and their middle order couldn't get the proper chance to show off their skills and they won the series without any serious problem. Bilateral series is not a big deal for India but the performance in ICC tournaments has been a huge problem because they lost in tricky moments and faded away.

After that all entertainment in the shorter format we are finally back to real cricket the Test Cricket.
India is up against World no. 1 New Zealand in 1st test yes they are missing some key players but the depth they have is truly splendid. Virat, Rohit, Rahul, Pant, Bumrah, and Shami are rested but they are still having a great combination and Shreyas Iyer will remember his debut. He got 100 in his 1st game and in crunch situations and helped his side to get a good total on the board.

After that, a great comeback by Kiwis their new opener Will Young and Experienced batter Tom Latham are on a roll. They have built a great partnership of 129/0 at the end of Day 2. So we are all set for a good test match after that partnership.
Pakistan tour of Bangladesh
After that memorable campaign of World T20 Pakistan is on the tour of Bangladesh and started their tour really nicely. Remember that Bangladesh has won the series against Australia and New Zealand in recent past but Pakistan played really well to claim 3-0 in T20 series yes that was close series but it is all the matter of how you finish at the end and Pakistan finished the things in their own way.
After that Pakistan also started their test campaign against the home side and they started really well with the ball and at one moment Bangladesh was 49/4 and then Liton Kumar Das and Mushfiqur Rahim came in their way. They played some great cricket to get their side back into the match and built the partnership of over 200 at the end of Day 1 Liton Das got his 1st test hundred and what a time to get it when his team needed the most.

Pakistan is still in the match so it will be a mouth-watering contest in the upcoming days.
Day 2 started with the domination of Pakistan's fast bowlers Hassan Ali was right at the top of his game and claimed another fifer this year.

Due to this Pakistan wrapped up things really nicely and Bangladesh was all out on just 330 after that brilliant partnership they were not able to go further.
West Indies tour of Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka started their WTC campaign in some style as they beat West Indies in 1st test comprehensively. Captain Dimuth Karunaratne is having a year to remember with the bat as he scored his 4th hundred of the year and 1st of the series. After that, the unsettled West Indies side has no answer against Sri Lankan spinners and they were all over the visiting side. On the last day Nakurma Bonner was the only man who stood tall but except him, there was no resistance from the batters and Sri Lanka has opened his account in WTC.
We are heading towards the big Ashes series also where Australia will be the host and it is starting from 8th December before that Australia is having some problems with the captaincy after the problem of Tim Paine and bow their key fast bowler Pat Cummins has appointed as the new captain and Steve Smith as Vice Captain so let's see how Australia goes under their new leader.
