So finally PSL heading towards the end with league matches has ended in some style.That was full of interest in Abu Dhabi leg because there were a lot of ups and downs for every side.Things were not going good for Gladiators from the start and they were having horrible season and finished the things with same fashion.There were a lot of problems for the in every department of the game their opening woes and middle order collapse no pinch hitter for death overs that was the problems in batting Sarfraz was the only batsman who scored fifty in Abu Dhabi for Quetta that's shows you how they were struggling to get going.
In bowling department the struggle and problems continues for them they were not getting wickets on regular basis with new ball,in the middle Nawaz was genuine match winner with the ball for them by but he didn't fulfill the expectations.In death overs they lost couple of matches in my opinion as they were missing specialist bowler and it cost them the matches and the last one also,they were looking good till the last 2 overs were destroyed by Danish Aziz and Chadwick Walton.
Quetta started PSL 2016 in some style and it was one of the most consistent side but from last 2 years they are just struggling.So they have to regain themselves recombine themselves and get the right combination next year.Hopefully they will come back stronger next year.
Lahore Qalandars
Qalandars were in top 4 in Karachi and they were off to a winning start in Abu Dhabi but cricket is a really cruel game because if you are playing it on merit then it will cost you.We all talked about their bowling because it was so powerful with their fast bowlers and Rashid Khan.But that was not upto the expectations if you're conceiving 150 after 20/5 then you need to look out things their bowlers were struggling in death overs and it cost them a tournament especially in the last match if you watch the last over of Haris Rauf he conceeded 24 runs against Sohail Tanvir and put pressure on his side.
In batting that was awful performance from Qalandars they were just ridiculous in playing shots Fakher Zaman was getting start in every match but as usual he was throwing it away by playing a false shot and so called attacking cricket. This is not attacking cricket mate and another most experienced batsman Hafeez was completely out of form he couldn't get start there and he was never looking comfortable at all.No.3 is most important position for any team in cricket but they couldn't find a specialist batsman for that position and they collapsed almost in every match.Tim David played some important knocks to get them respectable total other it could have been worse for them.In 6 seasons of PSL they were out from 1st round 5 times and only one time they were in top 4 and it was because of Chris Lynn and surprisingly they dropped him in next season.In these six years they have changed everything but Aqib Javed is still the coach of Qalandars and in 6 years he couldn't find right combination so there are a lot of things that need to watch out for them.

The all important final of WTC final is finally started after wash out the 1st day.This is just ridiculous from ICC to schedule it in rainy forecast and it will be really difficult to get result of it although there is a reserve day as well.
On Day 2 New Zealand won all important toss and there was no hesitation to bowl first there was one interesting thing that India has gone with 2 spinners and New Zealand hasn't played a spinner.
India started really well with Rohit and Gill they were very calm and compose,on the other hand New Zealand opening bowlers were little bit inconsistent with their line and length and it took a little while to adjust them.After that great start from openers they lost 3 wickets in quick time Jameison,Wagner and Boult got the wickets including the big wicket of Chateshwar Pujara as well he took his time but Boult got him with great in swinger.
After that Virat Kohli and Ajinkiya Rahene played really well and made sure that India not lost another wicket.At the end of Day 2 India was 140/3 and play was stopped earlier due to bad light.I think India is right on top so far because there weren't easy conditions to bat against top quality bowling line up and they tackled them really well so far Virat Kohli will be key India to get a good total from here.But I think Pant and Jadeja will be the key factor because both are in good touch and get runs very quickly so if they score then it will be difficult for New Zealand.
